Linda Naismith (AKA Dida) creates contemporary soft pastel animal portraits from photographs. She has an eye for texture and her aim is always to capture the essence of the animal. Dida's portfolio includes cats, dogs, rabbits, owls and even a rat! She is also currently working on a range of farm animal close-ups in pastel.

Dida's love of the texture of animals inspires her to also work with wool and she creates naturalistc animal 'sculptures' in Merino wool. Each figure is a true 'one-off' and favourite subjects include brown bears, cats dogs and owls.

Felt bangles, felted hot water bottle covers and other small gifts (all made from 100% pure new wool) are also available in a wide range of contemporary colours.
