Colin is a largely self taught craftsman/artist in wood. The argument as to whether woodturned items are craft or art is for another place however there is no denying the sheer beauty which lies beneath the surface of most trees. The skill of the individual is to bring this out in either a usable and/or decorative article. Even the less attractive timbers may still be fashioned into articles to be treasured by the recipient.

Customers should be aware that all items, because of their nature, are absolutely unique and, given appropriate treatment, will last for a very long time - after all, they took a very long time to grow!
