I draw on my love of nature - native wild flowers, beautiful Scottish landscapes and exotic flowers from far off places and inject vibrant colours and interesting textures to stir up the senses.

I love painting so long as at some point I can add something touchy feely. With me everything comes down to colour and texture.Working with flowers, especially wild ones, allows me to do this. Also, because I love the way things feel, fabrics and stitching add to my creative joy.

I am originally from Dunfermline but have travelled around abit over the years. It was only recently that I again addressed my creative streak and attended Carnegie College as a mature student of Art and Design. My confidence was boosted reuniting forgotten talent with new found creative skills and then winning an award for a piece in an Art exhibition/ competition sponsored by Shell.
